Be glad that I was out living my life, rather than simply chronicling it here. Lots has happened in the last 365 days, most recently the demise of the Oprah Winfrey show. I must confess, this has ZERO impact on my life; it’s not like she’s dying or anything. And there is the amazing thing called a “rerun.” Still, people are shattered, and I guess it’s nice to feel that strongly about another person Although one wonders–if Oprah were to suggest her disciples drink the (lo-cal, organic) Kool-Aid, would they? Maybe if a free trip to Australia entered the mix. And a plane piloted by John Travolta.
